30 April 2010 is a date to remember for SAMMI: the company has signed its first contract for the Chinese market.

The transportation system will be supplied by SAMMI, and is able to move up to handle up to 2,000 t/h of coal; it will be installed on the transshipper boat "Bulk Coal", now being built in the Nantong shipyards, which will be launched by May 2011.  This acquisition, besides confirming SAMMI’s technical capaicity, is an indicator of its management’s continuous commitment  and its proven ability to export Italian technology to the world, entering into negotiations directly with the end client.
