Before replacing a plant, we assess what can be retained
Upgrading the existing plant requires less time, fewer raw materials and lower costs than complete replacement.
We begin by assessing whether this is possible.
We also work on plants from other manufacturers
When plant revamping makes sense
Performance no longer meets production requirements
The plant was designed for throughput levels that have since been exceeded, or for a material that has changed.
Operating costs have increased
Rising energy consumption, unplanned downtime and major maintenance that becomes recurrent.
Regulations have changed
Safety requirements, emissions limits, CE marking of structures and local environmental constraints.
Available technology has changed
Automation, control and monitoring systems that did not exist when the plant was built can now be integrated into its existing structure.
Our approach
The most sustainable plant is the one already in place
Extending a plant’s service life is a direct application of circular economy principles to an industrial asset.
Upgrading rather than replacing means less steel, less transport, less energy used in construction and no disposal of equipment that still works. The most cost-effective option can also have the lowest impact.

Solutions for the entire plant lifecycle
Our work covers the entire plant lifecycle: handling, the design and construction of new systems; revamping, the upgrading of systems already in operation; and maintenance and spare parts, which extend their service life.
